About Micah House Media

Micah House Media is the publisher of family friendly Christian Fiction. Its founders, authors Diane and David Munson, never aspired to be publishers, but it has been said that necessity is the mother of invention. After authoring three suspense novels that were published by FaithWalk Publishing Company, FaithWalk was purchased as an imprint by a denominational house with no fiction list, resulting in the Munsons obtaining back the rights to their novels.

Diane is an attorney and former Federal prosecutor, while David was a Federal undercover agent. Both spent active and dangerous, but fulfilling careers in pursuit of justice. Their life mission is inspired by the Old Testament prophet Micah: He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. (Micah 6:8) (NIV).

With their fourth suspense thriller, Hero’s Ransom completed and faithful readers throughout the country clamoring for the next release, the Munsons negotiated to place their list with other publishers. With the downturn in the economy, some large Christian publishers were cancelling publications and reducing staffs. Those interested, wouldn’t be able to release Hero’s Ransom for several years. After much analysis and prayer, the Munsons felt led to form Micah House Media, LLC, and release Hero’s Ransom. Micah House has also released the Munsons three previous titles, Facing Justice, Confirming Justice, and The Camelot Conspiracy.

Micah House Media is committed to provide quality publications that promote Christian values. Our books are a wonderful fit for families, including teens and grandparents. Though David’s career was exciting, dangerous, including shoot-outs where criminals were wounded and some died, Micah books reflect action and suspense in well-crafted works that don’t need gratuitous violence.
